Triceratops skull

Triceratops Schädel

Nearly complete skull, original with approximately 15% restoration, of one of the most famous dinosaurs, equipped with three dangerously forward-pointing horns. We have given this well-preserved dinosaur the nickname Domien as a tribute to Domien Hennion, who, together with his father, dedicated much time and effort to preparing this skull from the hard rock. Such complete skulls are extremely rare. This dinosaur fell prey to a Tyrannosaurus rex (T. rex); the bite marks, especially at the tip of the right horn, are clearly visible. The parts marked in red are original. Location: Flaten Ranch, McCone County, Montana, United States of America. Age: Hell Creek Formation, Late Cretaceous, approximately 66 million years old.
