Van de heli is bekend dat deze\u00a0in 1999 in opslag stond op Pruszcz Gda\u0144ski in Polen en daarna in 2012 een blikvanger werd bij de Poolse plaats Kr\u0119\u017cnica Jara. Lees meer over Historyland op <a class=\"external\" href=\"http:\/\/historyland.protrix.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.historyland.nl<\/a>.<span id=\"more-117733\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De Mil Mi-2 (Russisch: \u041c\u0438-2) (NAVO-codenaam: Hoplite) is een kleine, lichtgepantserde transporthelikopter\u00a0die ook gevechtsondersteuning kan geven vanuit de lucht aan grondtroepen als deze\u00a0bewapend is met 57-mm-raketten en een 23-mm-kanon. De Mil Mi-2\u00a0werd voor het eerst in de Sovjet-luchtmacht ge\u00efntroduceerd in 1965 en werd exclusief geproduceerd in Polen. De productie stopte in 1985 nadat er ongeveer 7.200 waren gemaakt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De Mi-2 is vooral in gebruik in voormalige Sovjet-landen, maar ook in Duitsland, Mexico en Myanmar. Momenteel is de Mi-2 nog steeds in gebruik bij de Tsjechische luchtmacht.
